My journey sometimes feels a bit unrealistic to me. Going from being an introverted child who was born and raised in a village to becoming the CEO of a successful health tech company. It truly feels like a dream come true for me.

When I think about my journey, I realize that every decision, every step I took, and every risk I faced helped shape who I’ve become today.

This transformation didn’t happen overnight, it was a gradual process marked by challenges and moments of doubt. There were times when the path ahead seemed uncertain.

But what kept me going was a deep sense of desire to grow. I had a strong urge to continuously learn, and create something meaningful that could make a real difference in the world.

Each experience, no matter how difficult, taught me something valuable and brought me closer to realizing my potential.

Now, as I stand at the top of a successful health tech company, I see that all those moments, whether big or small, were crucial to the journey that was as much about personal growth as it was about professional success.

Facing Fears and Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone

When I was 9 years old, I was a calm and quiet child who always wished to stay on the back stage. But deep down in my subconscious mind, I simply wanted more for myself. I wanted to get noticed for something I did, and I wanted to prove myself.

To overcome my insecurities, I started to take on lead roles in school plays, even though I was scared. I didn’t let my fears hold me back from what I wanted to achieve for myself.

It wasn’t about the applause or the attention I wanted for myself, it was all about beating the fear that kept haunting me in the shadows.

That time reminded me how important it is to step out of my comfort zone, a lesson that helped me face many challenges afterwards in my life.

Finding My True Passion

When I turned 17, a turning point happened in my life. I chose to study automobile engineering out of my own interest. It was interesting at the beginning, but it didn’t make me excited after some time.

I slowly realized that I wasn’t what I wanted to do in my life. Changing my path wasn’t easy either, it took almost a year of thinking and preparing my mind to let go of interests.

But deep down,I was sure that I wanted to create something meaningful and exciting that could make a difference in society.

During this period, I regained my love for learning. I started spending hours in the village library. My curiosity for reading and learning new things gradually led me to the ever-exciting IT industry.

All of a sudden I became interested and curious about companies like Microsoft, and Google. Which were the leading providers of technology.

I decided to opt computer science because I knew it was a field where I could blend creativity with technology to make a difference.

Adapting to a New Environment

Moving from a small village to the busy city of Chennai was a big challenge. I had to quickly get used to a new culture.

I worked with people from different backgrounds, learned English to do well in school, and studied tough programming languages to stand out. Each of these experiences helped me grow and push myself further.

The Impact of Life-Long Learning

With all these years of experience, one of the best lessons I have learned is, the importance of continuous learning especially if you are in technology related industry or in health tech industry as it is always prone to changes.

To stay ahead, I learned as much as I could about programming and new technologies. I wasn’t just learning to pass tests, I was learning to solve problems and create new things.

This habit of always learning helped me do well in different jobs and eventually start my own company.

In my career, I took smart risks and grabbed opportunities when they came. After finishing my studies, I joined a small startup developing new antivirus software.

Even though it was a risk to join a small company, it gave me a lot of experience and helped me learn about new ideas. After that, I worked at big IT companies, and each job helped me get closer to my big dream.

Every risk I took and challenge I faced helped build my journey. All these experiences led me to start Elixr Labs, a company that wants to change healthcare with new cloud technology.

Running this company has been a mix of excitement and challenges, pushing me to apply everything I’ve learned over the years.

I hope my story inspires you to believe in your own dreams, no matter where you start.

The journey might be tough, but every step you take gets you closer to the person you’re meant to be.
