Our childhood dreams can be very strange sometimes. When we were kids, we often dreamt of being an astronaut or a pilot. We placed ourselves in the shoes of superheroes when we were little.
Our curious little minds were always intrigued by cool things and started to imagine ourselves in their roles. However, as we grow up, our dreams can take a turn, eventually leading us to make different plans for ourselves.
Yet, the fighter within us tries to make our dreams come true, even when we know the fact that how hard can it get be. That’s when we get to experience what real happiness is.
My friend once told me about his son. Two years ago, the boy wanted to be a doctor, but now he wants to be an astronaut. It made me think about the biggest dreams we once had, and where life actually took us.
It all feels weird now – sometimes dreams can have the capability to change as frequently as the passing seasons.
Chasing Dreams Against All Odds
I too had such strange childhood dreams when I was little. My dreams were always filled with different kinds of cars. Whenever I saw a sleek car passing by on the road, I couldn’t help but feel content.
My parents also sensed my love for cars, and wanted me to become an automobile engineer so that I could design one when I grew up. They thought it would be fantastic if I became an engineer one day, designing exactly the same car that grabbed attention of my inner self.
It was like a dream to think about creating something that amazing.
Following my passion for cars, I decided to become an automobile engineer when growing up. Because I loved cars so much, but things didn’t fall into place. Something unexpected happened in the meanwhile, that made me rethink my choice.
Despite being uncertain about my decision, I never let my doubts fade away my dreams.
Finding Joy in the Journey
I refused to abandon my dreams and instead discovered new ways to indulge my passion for cars. I made sure to grab every possible chance to experience something unique with cars, like driving a super powerful SUV to sitting in the cockpit of a fancy sports car. I enjoyed all these experiences and these moments made me feel better and reminded me that my dreams of working with cars was still intact within me, even though things didn’t go as planned.
Even though I didn’t become an automobile engineer like most people do, I didn’t give up on my love for cars. I worked really hard and found my own way to reach this level, but in a different way. Looking back, I realize how fortunate I've been for the experiences that shaped me.
What makes me this happiest isn’t about the job I’m doing or what I do for a living. Instead there are times when I’m doing what I love. Whether it’s speeding down the highway or feeling proud of owning a really nice car, these moments are what really matter to me. They show how strong people can be when they follow their passions.
Even if things get tough or don't go exactly how you planned, never giving up on your dreams is what makes you special. The message is for anyone who has big dreams. Never forget how strong your passion is. At the end of the day, it’s what keeps us going, even when times get tough.
As we sail through our life, our dreams may change and our paths may take unexpected terms. Yet, it’s our determination and passion that guide us towards fulfilling our dreams. Whether it’s chasing our childhood dream of becoming an astronaut or doctor, and passion for cars, the true essence lies in the decision of whether to hold onto our dreams or not.
Ultimately, it’s not about the title we hold or the carewers we pursue, but the moments of joy and fulfillment derived from indulging in our passions. These moments, whether it’s the thrill of driving down the highway or the pride of achieving a lifelong dream, are what truly matters. They remind us of the real spirit of human power when following their hearts.
What childhood dream or passion do you still hold onto, and how do you plan to pursue it despite life’s challenges and uncertainties?
